I have had the pleasure of not only hearing Jim play but also of watching him play. There are few people that play as cleanly and with what appears to be such ease as Jim. Every note has life and character.

Guitar Pieces stays in my car at all times! Jim's playing is effortless and free, and his compositions are very original. Jim has a gift for writing great melodies. "Each Passing Day," "Trail of Tears," and "Memories Like Rain" will reflect that for sure. I just have to smile every time I hear "South of Nashville."
